How heavy machinery fire suppression systems work
Our Stryker heavy machinery fire suppression systems use a proprietary linear sensor tube to reliably and accurately detect fire, in the most common place of ignition, your machinery's motor compartment.
Upon detection of fire, your system immediately fills the engine bay with a powerful foam based extinguishing agent. Using pneumatic technology, this agent, suppresses the flames straight away, before they can spread.
What makes Bulbeck suppression systems different
Quick and easy installation: Your sensor tubing and discharge subsystem are easily installed directly above and around the engine, and the cylinder can be mounted anywhere outside the protection zone.
Instant fire suppression: Should a fire occur, the heat of the flames will cause the pressurised sensor tube to burst at the hottest spot (approx. 110°C) suppressing the fire immediately and completely.
Tested and certified: Our fire suppression systems for heavy machinery are tested as per AS5062-2006 and certified by active fire.
Protecting assets and personnel is critically important for any business. Unfortunately, fires can occur anywhere, and workplaces must be adequately prepared.
