Stop fire before it’s too late. Install our misting fire suppression system for vehicles.
Engine compartment fires can destroy a vehicle completely if they are not arrested immediately after ignition. Ignition sources, electrical wiring and high temperatures make engine compartments the most probable source of a vehicle fire, so protecting your engine means protecting your vehicle and keeping your business running.
CLS fire suppression systems are custom configured and can be installed in very compact engine compartments. They are set up to target the specific fire risk areas, making sure that a fire is extinguished immediately after detection.
Benefits of CLS fire suppression systems
- Outstanding extinguishing capabilities
- Compact system
- Constant flow at high pressure
- Remotely refillable
- Environmentally safe options

- No external power needed
- Designed to Australian Standards AS 5062-2006
- Road haulage
- Small to medium plant
How our CLS fire protection systems work
When a fire starts, the heat generated causes a sensor tube to burst causing a release of pressure.
The loss of pressure triggers a pressure valve, activating the fire suppression system. A liquid based extinguishing agent is discharged into the engine compartment as a mist, which rapidly removes heat and prevents reignition.
CLS cylinders can be mounted horizontally or vertically and the dual-chamber design inhibits vibration related false activations. The TS-55 extinguishing agent is liquid based and has a very low freezing point (below -55 C). It has been specifically produced for high pressure fog applications.
A manual override is available, should the vehicle driver need to initiate the activation of the fire suppressant.
What makes Bulbeck CLS fire suppression systems different
Customised: Our CLS fire suppression systems are custom designed for your vehicle needs. Up to ten nozzles can be strategically placed in the engine compartment for effective placement of the misting agent.
Approved to Australian Standards: Bulbeck CLS fire suppression systems adhere to Australian Standards 5062-2006: Australia fire protection for mobile and transportable equipment.
Patented dual chamber design: The dual chamber cylinder is made from aluminium alloy. It is extremely strong and resistant to corrosion. During normal operation, the external chamber is not pressurised leading to increased safety and enhanced vibration resistance.
Comprehensive testing process: Bulbeck CLS sensor tubes are tested to the highest European quality standards including a one-year leakage rate test, raging test, 30-day extreme temperature leakage test and corrosion salt spray test.
Protecting assets and personnel is critically important for any business. Unfortunately, fires can occur anywhere, and workplaces must be adequately prepared.
